Early Years

Day Care for Montessori pupils operates from 12.15pm until 2.00pm, 3.30pm, 5.00pm or 6.30pm. Places can be reserved either termly in advance or, numbers permitting, signed up on a casual, daily basis, but there are only a limited number of places available. Children availing of the extended day facility benefit from the use of a dedicated facility on the school grounds with extensive, comfortable playrooms and activity areas, along with direct access to the Montessori playground. Hot meals are provided at 2.15pm and at around 5.00pm.

Under the supervision of a full-time Day Care Manager, who is a qualified Montessori Teacher, children participate in a range of structured activities such as arts and crafts, music, story time, computer work and free play in the outdoor play area (weather permitting). A wide range of books and toys is available and children are encouraged to engage in imaginative and creative play. The Day Care Manager is assisted by classroom assistants as required.

Prep Department

Parents have the option of signing up pupils for after-school supervision once the school day has finished at 4.45pm. Children staying later can be signed up for a full term, a weekly or daily basis. The extended day finishes at 6.30pm and all pupils must sign out with the Day Care Manager once their parents arrive.
