Once the lessons have finished at 3.30pm Prep pupils have the option of staying in school until 4.30pm to take part in the extensive co-curricular programme. The hobbies on offer include a full Art, Music and Sports programme. ICT club is available every day. Pupils sign up to an activity for a minimum of one term. Children who stay for hobbies are collected between 4.30pm and 4.45pm. After this time pupils are signed into after-school care.

Before the beginning of each term booking forms for co-curricular activities including the options of after school supervision (with tea), individual instrumental music lessons, clubs, hobbies and ‘Family Swim’ are issued. Numbers on some activities are limited and places are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

Activities currently available include: Art,  Badminton, Basketball, Chess,   Computing (ICT), Dance, Drama, Elite Swimming,  Gymnastics, Hockey, Horse Riding,  Irish Music Ensemble, Junior Gourmet, Knex & Lego, Library, Lifesaving and Water Safety Skills, Mandarin, Photography,  Pool based Games, Rock Band, Rugby, Sailing, Samba /African Percussion Band, Science Club, Soccer, Tag Rugby, Trampolining, Waterpolo …
