ART AND DESIGN NEWSSUMMER TERM 201227th April Well done to Gavin H and Isabella D who have both won Certificates of Commendation in the recent 58th Texaco Children's Art Competition. SPRING TERM 2012 19th March Entries are invited for the AIJS Art Competition, the theme this year is Ethnic Art. Further details are available from Ms Ryan and the closing date for entries is 18th May. 12th March - Congratulations to Naomi, Theo and Phoebe for their recent successes in the AIJS Photography Competition. They were awarded their certificates and prizes at Assembly recently. Their photographs are on display in The Street. - Design a Poster competition - Pupils are invited to design a poster advertising the forthcoming School Musical. 6th February Well done to Malou, Phoebe, Pamela, Theo, Katie-Jane, Josie and Naomi whose entries have been forwarded to the annual AIJS photography competition, the theme this year is "Community". 23rd January Well done to Amy! Her Doodle4Google has been shortlisted as one of the 75 finalists in this year's Irish Doodle4Google competition. Her design is currently displayed on the Google website where you can vote for it for this year's award. Good luck Amy. AUTUMN TERM 2011 12th December Congratulations to Guy, Jamie, Will, Rory, Amy and Suzanna who were the six students chosen to represent the School in the "Doodle 4 Google I Wish" competition. Thanks to all the students who submitted a drawing, we had over 60 Google Doodle entries, and it was extremely difficult to make the final selection. The six winning entries are currently being displayed in The Street.
