Castle Park School has a healthy eating policy and encourages pupils to make sensible choices at mealtimes. We maintain a nut-free environment at all times. Parents should bring to the School’s attention any other allergies that their children may suffer from, so that relevant options can be considered by our catering department.
Montessori pupils in the Junior and Senior classes bring a packed meal with them for morning snack and lunch break. Pre-Prep children bring a snack for morning break and then join the Prep department children for a hot lunch. Milk is available at a small charge at morning snack time. Montessori children staying to Day Care have a hot meal at 2.15pm and 5.15pm.
Prep pupils are offered fresh fruit and milk at morning break and they may bring from home a small, healthy snack such as a plain sandwich to eat at this time. A hot lunch, with vegetarian options and a salad bar, is served at 12.30pm daily. The weekly menu may be found on our School App, downloaded from this website and is also displayed at the entrance to the Hall. Pupils staying for Day Care have another hot meal at 5.15pm. |
