FOOD
We operate a cafeteria style lunch system for all pupils from Pre Prep upwards, every day. All food is freshly prepared on site and the inclusion of an appropriately healthy meal at midday is an important part of our provision.
Castle Park School has a “healthy eating” policy and encourages pupils to make sensible choices at mealtimes. We maintain a nut-free environment at all times. Parents should bring to the School’s attention any other allergies that their children may suffer from, so that relevant options can be considered by our catering department.
In addition, prep pupils are offered fresh fruit and milk at morning break, they may bring from home a small, healthy snack such as a plain sandwich to eat at this time. A hot lunch, with options, is served at 12.30pm daily. The weekly menu [hyperlink to menu on current pupil page] may be downloaded from this website and is also displayed at the entrance to the Hall. Pupils staying for after school care have a hot meal at 5.15pm. |
