Computer Literacy – ICT

Computer literacy, information and communication technology (ICT) and multi-media studies are an integral part of most subjects. A modern computer network provides teachers and pupils with the latest hardware and software, complimenting and enhancing the delivery of our broad curriculum. All classrooms benefit from large screen Smart TVs linked to Apple laptops, and a separate IT/Creative Suite (Apple Mac) is available to all pupils.

Full class sets of iPads are available to all children and are used to enhance and extend the children’s learning environment for all ages and in all subject areas. Children learn how to produce and edit music digitally; make podcasts and create movies; use Photoshop to edit & manipulate photos and program using Scratch, Phython and HTML. They learn how to source, evaluate and use information from the multitude of sources and formats available to them.
