Watercolour of School
“I think that this year (1975) marks the final establishment of Castle Park as a co-educational school. The numbers of girls have risen to twenty and this has been a happy change as far as the School is concerned. The girls have integrated well and take part in all activities except Rugby .….”

Palmer Carter, 1975

To reflect the co-educational status of the School, in 1977, Castle Park Old Boys’ Society changed its name and became the Old Cepians’ Society. The Society had celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1974.

1979, another Jubilee Year for the School, saw the highest numbers to date, with a total of 116 pupils, twenty seven of which were girls.
