AIJS Soccer Tournament
All the boys arrived at St Gerard's School for the tournament with very high expectations. In previous years Castle Park has enjoyed great success at this event, twice winning and twice being the runners up during the last four years. This year the boys started brilliantly scoring early against the eventual winners, Terenure. It looked like we were about to record a famous victory but the Terenure boys scored with the last kick of the match. We remained undefeated in the next three matches, but even though the boys played well they went out of the tournament at the group stage for the first time ever. Well done to all the boys and thanks to all those parents who gave up their Saturday to support the team.
Week of 17th October
Inter House Soccer Tournament - well done to all the pupils who represented their Houses in this year's Inter House Soccer Tournament, great fun was had by all during the week. There were some closely fought matches, in particular the Form IV and the Form V/VI finals, which both finished in draws.
