Budding Astronauts in Pre-Prep 3

Over the last few weeks, the children in Pre-Prep 3 have been learning all about Astronauts, Space and our Solar System.  Our Zoom timetable is allowing us to discover new and exciting facts about the planets and other objects in our Solar System.  We are learning about Neil Armstrong, Tim Peake and watching really cool videos sent by Chris Hadfield from the ISS.

In Numeracy the children have learned about 3D shapes.  We focused on the names and properties of the shapes, and the children are learning how to recognise them by completing Shape Hunts in their homes! This week we have also been learning about Ordinal Numbers.

In SEAL we continue to focus on mindfulness, resilience and friendship. It is especially important during this time to learn how to cope and process our feelings and emotions.

The children are all doing so well and should be proud of themselves, we most certainly are!  Well done PP3, you are all superstars!
